Jessica Lerner

Is thrilled to return for the third annual Cure Kids Jam and Festival!
Jessica's involvement with the Cure JM Foundation began on February 8, 2009 when she met Mason Smedley, who has JM.  Mason was critically ill in the hospital, and Jessica was deeply moved by his story. A week later on Valentine's Day, she held her own Cure JM Concert at Horton Plaza Mall in San Diego, CA. The concert was a success, and Jessica donated all the proceeds to the Cure JM Foundation, thus inspiring the 1st Oregon Cure JM concert. Since then, she has made many friends around the country that have JM.
Rising recording artist, Jessica Lerner, has been featured on the San Diego CW and NBC news stations. Her music is getting radio play in San Diego, college radio stations around the country, and most recently in Europe!
Jessica is a complete independent artist, as she writes and produces all of her music. She has been busy this past year recording her first full length CD.
Jessica's music is a feast for the ears, combining a variety of sounds; piano driven melodies, whimsical acoustic and pop-rock electric guitars, dramatic strings and riveting drums. Her clear and emotional vocals tie her album together. Jessica's song topics range from her own experiences of life, love, heartbreak, relationships, and inspirations. Many fans have described her music as how they feel about life or a situation. Her ability to relate to others is what drives Jessica to keep writing. Her greatest honor is when someone says, "I need that song."
Jessica released the music video for the song, "Hey Mason" in May 2010. "Hey Mason" is dedicated to her dear friend who has JM, and all the other children with this rare disease. Jessica’s message is of life-long friendship and support.
